Dimitris Karaiskos was born in 1973 in Athens, Greece. He is a graphic designer, photographer, writer and publisher. He studied Interaction Design at Ravensbourne College in London and runs his own design studio since 2000. He has worked on a variety of design projects with a multitude of clients, mostly in the cultural field. He has received local and international recognition, winning two times the Greek Graphic Design Award (2007 and 2015) and participating in international exhibitions and publications. Since 2014 he publishes the black and white nautical magazine "Kyma". He lives between Athens and the islands of Tinos and Syros. He loves books, surfing, wooden boats, and his dog, Luke.
